Hi this is Baywatch from Rednote. Since 2023, I have been shooting both digital and film simultaneously. After short experimenting with bad scans from SP3000 / Noritsu 500 which were lack of maintaince, I began exploring the Hasselblad X5 scanner and the process of manually negative conversions.
During this journey, I discovered ColorPerfect. I noticed its outstanding performance in color—especially in tones and saturation. This feature made it stand out from other options, and I’ve been using it in MacOS, with its 'rough' UI though.
Currently, I am using the following cameras: Nikon F2, Nikon F80s, Nikon L35AD, and Olympus u2. Lenses include the Nikon 50mm f/1.4 G, Nikon 24-120mm f/4 G, Nikon 50mm f/2 Nikkor-H, and Leica Summicron-R 50mm f/2 E55. For the digitals, I'm using Leica Q-P and Canon r8. Sometimes I shoot with both film and digital to enjoy the subtle difference.
It is exciting to see the recent release of CP3, particularly after my recent trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. I shot over ten rolls and I cannot wait to see how the images look with CP3 processed. I will provide feedbacks with these new rolls and some of my archives shot with Rollei 35s.
I would be grateful if I could get a trial version to explore its features. I also use NLP, and I could provide some comparisions if you are interested.
Attached a few samples of my processed images.
