I tested the white balance correction feature using Kodak Movie Film 5203
( ! ! ! It's not a MAC but a WIN system. The MAC information box you see in the image is from a simulation software on Steam ! ! ! )
This photo was intentionally overexposed by +1 EV when captured with the Panasonic S5, but the pixel shift function was not used.
During the color correction process, I only clicked on the neutral gray areas in the image without adjusting any other parameters. As you can see, the color correction works well under normal exposure conditions, and the skin tones appear natural.
Kodak Movie FIilm 5203
This is the image without any color correction, directly opened in ColorPerfect.
This image was corrected by clicking on the shadow area of the white iron gate.
However, I noticed that in some incorrectly exposed shots, the white balance tends to shift. When I took this photo, I suspect it was severely overexposed, which caused the film to exhibit color shifts when processed in the software.
But after clicking on a neutral gray area, the color shift in the image was alleviated.
In this photo, I have to admire ColorPerfect's control over highlights. It’s clear that the right side of the image was severely overexposed in the software interface, but after adjusting the Highlight: Stops-Range-Clip setting and further tweaking it in Photoshop’s Camera Raw, the overexposure was resolved.
This is the initial image imported into ColorPerfect, where you can see a significant yellow tint.
After clicking on the white wall of the church, the color shift was corrected.
The final result after adjustments in Camera Raw.
Finally, these are the originally captured images - the raw files.

Since you did include a digitally taken version I played with that first in PerfectRAW. SmartClip as detailed here was used with a selection in PS.
I ended up at this, seeing your posts were mirrored
The power lines in the overexposed sky would need to be fixed or removed in an editing step. If we take the color negative film version FilmType SubType FilmGamma seem needed, that can be tricky but this state leads to no color balance shift between clicking the gray wall and the white of the sign in the window which is not half bad. Since we have the meta file I don't need to say in what way I played with it...
It includes the selection on the digital image, none on the neagtive (but it bust me cropped, or otherwise selection be made on the actual negative plus holding Shift depressed on plug-in startup)
This is useful, I identified two bugs in the process
What we do see: The shoulder region of the characteristic curve is reached by the densities forming the sky, thus color starts to become unreliable there. To be fixed in a post step. But you did point out that it was overexposed and so that is expected.

Only looking at your post again I saw that you have ColorNeg in SC mode, which is for scanners.
DC for digital cameras can be so much more rewarding. Like here when you shoot in late sunlight we can see some of that. Since we have those sprocket holes let's show them off. This is the difference: Color balance can be chnaged, Saturation can be changed but color fidelity of DC can never be produced in SC for digital camera repros.
