Over the past weeks, I’ve been experimenting extensively with Indigo RAW combined with ColorPerfect, and I’d like to share both my results and a request that naturally follows from this workflow.

Re: Mobile Photography - UK
Hi Christoph,
I’d like to ask whether this type of ColorChecker is suitable for PerfectRAW characterization.
I currently have a Calibrite ColorChecker Classic (24-patch), including the neutral gray panel, and I’m planning to create a RAW color characterization for the iPhone 16 promax.

Re: Reddish Results in DC Mode
Based on what you added on Xiaohongshu I’d like to ask why does ColorPerfect use the brightest area as the reference for the light source
The brightest part of an image is often not neutral gray
Does that mean I should place a gray card in the frame when photographing negatives to get the most ...

Re: Reddish Results in DC Mode
Thanks a lot, Christoph!
I had never paid attention to the Film Gamma feature before — using it to correct the color cast is really powerful. Your explanation and the sample you shared helped me understand how to balance the image so much better.

Reddish Results in DC Mode
Hi everyone,
I’ve been experimenting with DC mode in ColorPerfect 3, but I’m not getting the results I expected — all the processed images come out with a strong red cast. I’d really appreciate any tips or feedback from the community about what might be going wrong.
